Installing Konica Minolta Maxxum/Dynax 7D driver for Windows 32 and 64 bit

Driver installation step by step

Connect your Konica Minolta Maxxum/Dynax 7D to your computer. Wait until windows prompt for a drivers.

This software is incompatible with Konica Minolta drivers for Windows XP. You need to uninstall them if you want to use the plug-in. You cannot use Konica Minolta software and the plug-in at the same time.
Click on driver prompt and point the software to a "Drivers" subfolder of folder with the extracted software installation. If the system skips an attempt to find drivers use the followin steps. In case the sistem propmted for a driver path jump to a path selection step

If you see this window please close it. You need to follow additional steps to install the driver.

Open device manager from Control Panel. The easest way to find it is to type "device manager" in search field.

Find Konica Minolta Maxxum/Dynax 7D unrecognized device in device maanger.
Select Muxxum 7D node

Select Update Driver Software from popup menu.
Force update driver

Press "Browse my computer for driver software" button from the followin dialog box.
Select Browse my computer for driver software

Specify "Driver" sobfolder of the folder with your copy of the plug-in installation files.

You'll see unsigned drivers warning on the next step. Agree to the installation and finish it. Please note that all the driver modules are signed. You can check the signature in windows explorer. But Windows want installation instruction to be signed to. They are not signed and Windows displays this prompt.

Launch Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 3 executable and start tethered session (File -> Tethered Capture -> Start Tethered Capture).
